"AZURE"
Truline Hybrid Seawall Replacement
Location: Delray Beach, FL
About this project
This AZURE waterfront project in Delray Beach, Florida involved the complete removal and replacement of a failed seawall along the Intracoastal Waterway, located within an active speed zone. The existing seawall had experienced catastrophic structural failure, making full demolition and replacement the only viable solution to protect the property and surrounding shoreline.
Our team installed a Truline Hybrid Seawall system with a reinforced concrete cap, providing a modern, high-performance seawall solution engineered for high-energy waterfront environments. The Truline hybrid design allowed us to deliver the structural strength of reinforced concrete and steel, while the vinyl Truline panel system acts as a protective barrier—shielding critical structural components from constant water exposure, corrosion, and marine growth.
Working along the Intracoastal presented unique challenges, including boat traffic, wake energy, and speed-zone conditions. The hybrid system was selected specifically for its ability to withstand these forces while maintaining long-term performance and a clean, finished appearance. By protecting the concrete and steel behind the vinyl panel, the system significantly extends the lifespan of the seawall and reduces long-term maintenance concerns for the homeowner.
This project highlights our expertise in seawall replacement, failed seawall remediation, and coastal infrastructure upgrades in demanding marine environments. The result is a robust, resilient seawall system designed to safeguard the property, improve shoreline stability, and provide peace of mind for years to come.
