Truline Hybrid Seawall, Dock & 33K Neptune Boat Lift

About this project
The TRIFECTA project was a comprehensive waterfront upgrade, combining a Truline Hybrid Seawall, a new composite dock, and a 33,000 lb quad-track Neptune elevator boat lift, giving it it’s name: Trifecta. This property faced a unique challenge: a large retaining wall in the backyard had begun crushing the existing seawall, causing noticeable cracks and settling in the pavers above. It’s common for hardscape retaining walls to place excess weight on seawalls that weren’t designed to handle it, which can accelerate structural failure.
Our team installed a new Truline Hybrid Seawall at the proper elevation, engineered to support both the backyard design and dock, while preserving a functional, visually appealing waterfront space. The seawall was reinforced with MST GFRP rebar, a non-corrosive, non-ferrous material, ensuring long-term durability and eliminating the risk of steel oxidation—a primary cause of concrete failure in coastal environments.
The dock was constructed using WearDeck decking from Decks & Docks, framed with marine-grade lumber and secured with 316 stainless steel hardware, providing a durable, low-maintenance surface built to withstand saltwater conditions. To complete the waterfront solution, we installed a 33K Neptune quad-track boat lift with a custom boarding platform seamlessly integrated into the dock for both function and aesthetic appeal.
This Trifecta project demonstrates how APH Marine Construction can engineer and execute full-service waterfront upgrades, addressing structural challenges, improving usability, and elevating the property’s long-term value.
