About this project
The Harbor Drive project involved a comprehensive waterfront upgrade, featuring 180’ of Truline Hybrid Seawall, a 170’ picture-framed composite dock, and a 20,000 lb Neptune boat lift.
A unique feature of this dock was a 20’ lower section framed in structural composite lumber, specifically chosen for areas exposed to frequent high tides. This ensures long-term durability where the substructure would regularly get wet, while maintaining the structural integrity and aesthetics of the dock.
The dock was finished with Dek-O-Block pilings, providing a clean, modern look and built-in opportunities for nighttime lighting, creating a visually striking waterfront experience. To accommodate the yacht and new boat lift, the area was hydraulically dredged, ensuring proper water depth and safe operation.
This project demonstrates APH’s ability to deliver fully integrated waterfront solutions, combining engineered seawall protection, custom dock design, and high-capacity boat lift installation for functional and aesthetic results that stand the test of South Florida’s coastal conditions.
