The dock was constructed using Owens Corning WearDeck decking, framed on Dek-O-Block pilings, which are wrapped in black composite for a clean, modern finish.
Dek-O-Blocks are becoming a standard in composite dock construction due to their sleek appearance, durability, and built-in lighting opportunities. This setup allowed the homeowner to integrate an internal glow lighting system, providing a beautiful visual effect at dusk while maintaining safe navigation along the dock.
The dock structure also incorporated MST reinforcement, ensuring long-term durability and resistance to the harsh saltwater environment typical of South Florida. This combination of modern materials, thoughtful engineering, and elegant design results in a dock that is both visually striking and built to last.
